1450 KMRY is the home of Kernels baseball

The Cedar Rapids Kernels are pleased to announce that 1450 KMRY will be the home of Kernels baseball on the radio. The dean of Midwest League broadcasters, John Rodgers, will provide the play-by-play action for his 13th consecutive season.

KMRY will broadcast all of the Kernels 140 games in 2009. All 140 games will also be available live via the internet through the Kernels’ website at www.kernels.com and on 1450 KMRY's web site by clicking here. Internet listeners should notice an improvement in streaming quality this season as KMRY will provide a direct-to-internet feed of the broadcast.
